Les 9 & 10 Juin 2007, le monde demande la libération de l'ensemble de la Palestine, le droit au retour dans leurs foyers de tous les réfugiés palestiniens expulsés depuis 1948, la fin de l’occupation et l’abolition du système colonial et raciste d’Israël et une autodétermination pour les Palestiniens et il dénonce la collaboration des gouvernements du monde entier avec l’Etat colonial d’Israël et ses manifestations politiques, économiques, militaires, universitaires, scientifiques, culturelles, etc

PALESTINE - APPEL A MOBILISATION LES 9 & 10 JUIN 2007

Le 6 juin 1967, Israël a lancé une offensive globale contre tous les pays arabes environnants, en occupant certaines parties de leurs terres tout en achevant son occupation de la Palestine.

Les faits historiques nous montrent que l'ensemble de l'entreprise Sioniste a atteint son point culminant le 14 mai 1948, avec la déclaration de "l'Etat d'Israël" illégitime et raciste sur les terres Arabes occupées, suite à une vague de massacres et d'expulsions d'une population vers un destin qui est encore désastreux aujourd'hui.

La Nakba (Catastrophe) de 1948 en Palestine, et ensuite l'achèvement de l'occupation en 1967, étaient le résultat d'une longue suite historique dans l'évolution du Mouvement Sioniste qui a commencé il y a 110 ans, en 1897 avec le premier Congrès Sioniste en Suisse, suivi rapidement en 1917 par la Déclaration de Balfour prononcée par le Ministre Britannique des Affaires Etrangères – Arthur James Balfour a promis aux sionistes un "foyer national juif" en Palestine- et après l'arrivée de vagues incessantes de colons Sionistes en Palestine sous la surveillance attentive de l'Autorité coloniale britannique, l'ONU a décidé seule de diviser la Palestine en 1947, donnant ainsi une légitimité injustifiée à une entité coloniale raciste qui devait naître moins d'un an après.

L’énoncé de ces dates n’est pas là pour la rhétorique, mais pour confirmer que le projet de colonisation de la Palestine continue aujourd’hui sur les mêmes bases politiques et avec les mêmes méthodes de nettoyage ethnique, de blocus, d'agressions de massacres et d'une manière plus importante, en poussant les peuples et les gouvernements à accepter ces actes et leurs résultats illégitimes en tant que "faits" acceptables indiscutables.

La résistance issue de la Nakba s’est accompagnée d’un projet national de libération avec la structuration d’organisations politiques autant dans les territoires occupés en 1948 que dans ceux de 1967.
Cette résistance fait partie intégrante de l’histoire des Palestiniens - la grande révolte de 1935 à 1939, la résistance écrasée en septembre 1970 en Jordanie, au Liban ou les deux Intifada (1987-1992) et celle de septembre 2000.

La résistance palestinienne agit aussi contre les plans de liquidation du projet national de libération tel l’accord d’Oslo, l'Initiative de Genève ou la Feuille de Route du quartet (ONU, USA, Russie, Union Européenne).

Depuis la création de l’Etat illégitime d’Israël en 1948, plus de 40 plans de "paix" ont vu le jour, sans suite, car ils n'étaient pas basés sur l’application des simples droits de l'homme : Il ne peut y avoir de justice avec la présence d'une occupation et il ne peut y avoir de paix avec la présence d'une entité coloniale raciste.

L’Intifada de septembre 2000 ainsi que les élections de janvier 2006 - victoire du Hamas-, sont l’expression du refus de la légitimité du projet colonial d’Israël sur toute la Palestine historique.

C’est l’expression du droit à la résistance d’un peuple sous occupation qui reste la pierre angulaire de son projet national de libération en recomposition.

Depuis les élections de janvier 2006, les grandes puissances impérialistes imposent un blocus économique et financier aux Palestiniens dans l’objectif d’écraser encore une fois la résistance et Israël agit sur la base d’un plan politique unilatéral des Travaillistes et du Likoud afin d’empêcher l’instauration de toute souveraineté palestinienne, même si cett% "souveraineté" était sous son contrôle. Ce sont les bases du Sionisme qui restent le fondement de la politique israélienne.


Le sionisme face à deux grandes problématiques

Il y a aujourd’hui plus de 10 millions de Palestiniens dans le mondel dont la moitié vit l’occupation sur le territoire de la Palestine historique et l’autre moitié l’exil aux frontières de ce même territoire.

Privés de leurs droits fondamentaux, ils développent une résistance active et passive face à l’Etat d’Israël qui n’a jamais varié dans sa volonté d'écraser toute résistance. Tous les moyens sont bons : l’affrontement direct ou la provocation d'une guerre inter-factions palestiniennes.


Aujourd’hui, quelles conséquences en tirons-nous ?

Le peuple palestinien refuse le "compromis historique", et l’abandon d’une partie de sa terre, la preuve en est la revendication du droit au retour des réfugiés sur leurs terres d’origines occupées par Israël –Jaffa, Haïfa, Akka, Tibériade.

L’abandon de ces revendications signifierait l’abandon de son identité nationale. La question de la légitimité d’Israël reste au cœur du conflit et le peuple palestinien y répond tous les jours par sa résistance passive ou active dans les territoires occupés en 1948 ou en 1967.

L’abandon de l'histoire et des revendications palestiniennes par certains au sein du mouvement de "solidarité", défend en réalité la pérennité de l’Etat colonial d’Israël sous prétexte de la sécurité du "foyer refuge pour les juifs" face à l’antisémitisme.

La solution des deux Etats joue ce rôle, mais elle n’est qu’un leurre et elle est territorialement non viable du fait du système colonial qui est l’obstacle aux droits des Palestiniens.

Nous soutiendrons leur lutte jusqu’à la libération complète de leur terre historique, qui seule garantira le retour des réfugiés. Nous soutenons tous les résistants palestiniens sans exception dans leur lutte contre l’occupation et surtout les sans voix, les sans grades, les réfugiés dans les camps en Palestine et en exil, les paysans qui voient leur terre disparaître sous les colonies, les mères qui enterrent leurs enfants de leurs mains, les enfants qui ne peuvent étudier, les prisonniers, les hommes et les femmes qui ne peuvent travailler et qui subissent les centaines de barrages et un chômage sans fin, les milliers de blessés et les handicapés,…


Nous incitons à développer les campagnes de Boycotts, Retraits d'Investissements et Sanctions au niveau mondial. C’est pourquoi, les 9 & 10 juin 2007 doivent être le moment d’une mobilisation massive pour montrer que les peuples du monde entier :

1. soutiennent la résistance du peuple palestinien et le développement d'une solidarité populaire autour des revendications : la libération de l'ensemble de la Palestine, le droit au retour dans leurs foyers de tous les réfugiés palestiniens expulsés depuis 1948, la fin de l’occupation et l’abolition du système colonial et raciste d’Israël et une autodétermination,

2. veulent donner la parole aux Palestiniens engagés dans la résistance,

3. dénoncent la collaboration des gouvernements du monde entier avec l’Etat colonial d’Israël et ses manifestations politiques, économiques, militaires, universitaires, scientifiques, culturelles, etc.

PALESTINE - MOBILIZATION CALL ON JUNE 9 & 10, 2007

On June 6, 1967, Israël launched an all-out offensive against all of surrounding Arab countries, occupying parts of their land, as well as completing its occupation of Palestine.

Historical facts tell us that the whole endeavour of Zionist occupation came to its peak on the 14th of May 1948, by declaring the illegitimate and racist “State of Israël” over occupied Arab land, following a wave of massacres and expulsions of people to a fate that is still disastrous nowadays.

The Nakba (Catastrophe) of 1948 in Palestine, and the following completion of occupation in 1967, were the result of a long historical series in the evolution of the Zionist movement that started 110 years ago, in the 1897 with the First Zionist Congress in Switzerland, followed closely in 1917 by the “Balfour Declaration” by the British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour promising Zionists a “Jewish national home” in Palestine, and after continuous waves of Zionist settlers pouring in Palestine under the close supervision of the British Colonialist authority, the UN decided on its own to divide Palestine in 1947, thus giving an unjust legitimacy to a racist colonial-settling entity that was to be born less than a year later.

These dates are not cited here for mere rhetoric, but in order to confirm that the project of colonization of Palestine is going on today on the same political basis and with the same methods of ethnic cleansing, blockade, aggression, massacres, and more importantly, pushing people and governments alike to accept these acts and their illegitimate results as indisputable acceptable “facts”.

The Resistance born out of the Nakba was accompanied by a freedom national project and the structuring of political organizations as well in the territories occupied in 1948 and inside the territories occupied in 1967.

This resistance is integral part of the history of the Palestinian people - the 1935 – 1939 Great Strike, the crushing of the Palestinian Resistance in September 1970 in Jordan, later in Lebanon or the two Intifadas (1987-1992) and the Intifada Al-Aqsa in September 2000.

Palestinian resistance also acts against the liquidation plans of the freedom national project as the Oslo agreement, the Geneva Initiative or the Quartet Roadmap (UN, USA, Russia, and European Union). Since the creation of the illegitimate State of Israël in 1948, more than 40 peace plans were adopted, without results, because they were not based on the application of these basic humane principles : There can be no justice in the presence of occupation, and there can be no peace in the presence of a racist colonial-settler entity.

The September 2000 Intifada as well as the elections on January 2006 – Hamas victory -, are the expression of the refusal of the legitimacy of the Israël's colonial project over historic Palestine. It is the expression of the people living under occupation's right to resist, which remains the angular stone of its freedom national project in reconstruction.

Since the elections on January 2006, the great imperialists powers have imposed an economic and financial blockade to the Palestinians in order to crush resistance once again and Israël acts on the basis of the Labour Party and Likoud members's unilateral political plan in order to prevent the establishment of any Palestinian “sovereignty”, even if this mock “sovereignty” would be under their own control.: it is the basis of the Zionism which remains the basis of the Israëli policy.


Zionism is facing two major problems:

Today, there are more than 10 million Palestinians in the world; half of them live under occupation in historic Palestine, and the others live in exile at the borders of this same territory.

Deprived of their basic rights, they develop an active and passive resistance against the State of Israël which never varied in its will to crush any kind of resistance.

For "Israël", all the means are good: the direct confrontation or the provocation of a war between Palestinians.


Today, which consequences do we draw?

The Palestinian people refuse the “historical compromise” and the surrender of part of their land, proof of this being the claim of the refugee's right to return to their original lands occupied by Israël - Jaffa, Haïfa, Akko, Tiberiad. The surrender of these claims would mean the surrender of national identity.

The question of Israël's legitimacy remains at the core of the conflict and the Palestinians give an answer to it every day by their passive or active resistance in the territories occupied in 1948 or 1967.

The surrender of the Palestinian claims and of their History by some people within the "solidarity" movement is actually protecting the colonial State of Israël's continuity, under the pretext of the safety for the Jews confronted by so-called “anti-Semitism” and needing a “national home”. The two States solution plays this role, but it is only a lure and it is a nonviable solution due to the colonial system which is the obstacle to the Palestinian people's rights.

We will support the Arab Palestinian struggle till the complete liberation of their historic land, the only solution which will guarantee the return for the refugees.

We support all the forms taken by Palestinian resistance without exception in their struggle against the occupation and especially those without voice, those without ranks, the refugees in the camps in Palestine and in exile, the peasants who see their land stolen for the sake of the Israëli settlements, the mothers who bury their children with their own hands, the children who cannot study, the prisoners, the men and the women who cannot work and who suffer from the hundreds of roadblocks and an unemployment endless, those thousands of wounded and disabled people.


We urge to develop the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions initiatives all over the world. It's the reason why, June 9 & 10, 2007 must be a massive mobilization to show that people, all over the world :

1 -support the Palestinian resistance and the growth of a popular solidarity around the claims: Liberation of the whole Palestine, the right to return in their homes for all the Palestinian refugees expelled since 1948, the end of the occupation and the abolition of the Israël's colonial and racist system and self-determination for the Palestinian people,

2 -want to let speak the Palestinians committed in resistance ;

3 - denounce the governments' collaboration all over the world with the colonial State of Israël and its political, economic, military, academic, scientific, cultural events, etc.
